AI Use & Data Protection
Last reviewed: September 2026 · Requires legal/professional review before publication
This page explains my approach to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in connection with Skills for Life OT and my responsibilities regarding data protection in that context.
Use of AI in my practice
Where AI tools are used in connection with my practice (for example, in report drafting or administrative tasks), I take appropriate steps to ensure that personal or health data relating to clients is not processed in ways that conflict with GDPR or my professional obligations.
Clinical decisions and professional judgements are made by me as a qualified and CORU-registered occupational therapist. AI tools do not make clinical decisions.
