Every new client starts here. After you have filled out the enquiry form I will email you an intake parent questionnaire. Please specify your best time for a Google Meet. Together we'll decide what type of OT assessment or support is most appropriate.

Comprehensive OT Assessment — Clinic
Clinic-based
A comprehensive functional OT assessment carried out in the clinic. You will receive a written OT report with practical recommendations for home and school and, where appropriate, recommendations for further OT intervention.

Two assessment sessions
A comprehensive assessment across your child's home and school environments. You will receive a written OT report with practical recommendations and, where appropriate, recommendations for ongoing OT therapy. Seeing your child in their natural environments helps me build a fuller picture.

Targeted OT Assessment
Following the Initial OT Consultation
A focused assessment identified as appropriate following the Initial OT Consultation. This may be recommended where there is a specific area of concern to explore, or where a previous OT assessment has identified a need for further focused assessment.

60 minutes · can be tailored to shorter sessions depending on your child's needs
Individualised therapy based on your child's assessment findings and agreed goals. Sessions may take place in a clinic, home or school where appropriate. Parent coaching can also be provided as a 60-minute session at the same €130 rate.
Tell me about your childSix-session Therapy Block
Six sessions
A focused period of intervention following assessment. Allows time to work towards specific goals, practise skills, introduce strategies, monitor progress and support carry-over into everyday life. Where appropriate, the block can include 1–2 parent coaching sessions by telephone/online.
Tell me about your child12-Month Reassessment
If a previous OT assessment was completed more than 12 months ago, a review and reassessment will generally be required before making new recommendations. Children develop and change, and their needs can change with them. The appropriate level of reassessment will be discussed during the Initial OT Consultation — a completely new comprehensive assessment may not always be necessary.
Cancellation & Fee Policy
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to the full appointment fee.
Appointments cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice can be rescheduled without a cancellation charge.
If your child is unwell, please contact me as soon as possible. I will consider each situation individually.
Possible Tax & Health Insurance Reimbursement
You may be able to claim some of your occupational therapy costs back through your health insurer or through Revenue, depending on your individual circumstances and policy.
Some VHI and Laya Healthcare plans include benefits for occupational therapy. Cover, limits and the number of eligible visits vary between policies, so please check your individual policy directly with your insurer.
You may also be able to claim tax relief on qualifying health expenses through Revenue. This is separate from health-insurance reimbursement and is subject to Revenue's eligibility rules.
I will provide an appropriate receipt/invoice to support your claim. Please check your eligibility and current terms directly with Revenue or your health insurer before making a claim.
